Laundry Manager

Job Description

 As Laundry Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of all laundry services at the resort, ensuring that guest linens, staff uniforms, and hotel textiles are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest standards. You will lead a team dedicated to excellence in hygiene, efficiency, and luxury presentation, upholding the values of care and quality at the heart of the Hyatt Inclusive Collection. 

  • Manage daily operations of the laundry facility, including linen, uniforms, and guest laundry services.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule laundry staff, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment functionality and coordinate preventive maintenance with Engineering.
  • Monitor chemical usage, fabric care processes, and sustainability practices.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely delivery and supply of clean linens and uniforms.
  • Implement and uphold Hyatt’s hygiene and sanitation protocols, including record keeping and audits.
  • Monitor inventory of linen stock, cleaning agents, and machinery parts, ensuring efficient cost control.

Experience and skills desired

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a laundry management or supervisory role within a full-service or luxury resort.
  • Knowledge of commercial laundry operations, fabric care, and stain treatment.
  • Familiarity with industrial laundry machinery and systems.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to manage resources and meet operational budgets.
  • Detail-oriented with high cleanliness and quality expectations.
