General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of an
All Inclusive resort within the Hyatt Inclusive Collection portfolio. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, strong financial results, and full compliance with brand standards, corporate policies, and local regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all hotel departments, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Maintain the highest standards of guest satisfaction, service quality, and brand compliance.
- Ensure full alignment with Hyatt Inclusive Collection brand standards and operating procedures.
Financial & Business Performance
- Drive profitability through effective revenue management, cost control, and budget execution.
- Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions to achieve established targets.
- Collaborate with corporate and ownership to develop short- and long-term business strategies.
People & Culture
- Lead, develop, and inspire an executive team and hotel colleagues to achieve high performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
Commercial & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to optimize market positioning and performance.
- Act as the primary representative of the hotel with owners, corporate leadership, and key stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, community partners, and suppliers.
Risk, Compliance & Asset Management
- Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee asset protection, capital planning, and property condition to preserve long-term value.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as General Manager in All Inclusive resorts, preferably in beach destinations.
- Background in upper-upscale or luxury hotel brands.
- Strong operational expertise across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Commercial functions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a strategic and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, high-volume resort environments.
- Fluency in Spanish and English required; additional languages are a plus.
