The Asian Specialty Chef is responsible for the preparation and presentation of authentic and modern Asian cuisine, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction. This role leads the Asian restaurant or station, delivering innovative dishes that align with Secrets brand standards while providing a memorable fine-dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Expertise & Food Preparation
- Prepare and present authentic Asian cuisine (e.g., Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Pan-Asian) with a strong emphasis on quality and authenticity.
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, incorporating seasonal ingredients and modern culinary trends.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control across all dishes.
- Oversee specialty cooking techniques such as sushi preparation, wok cooking, teppanyaki, or dim sum (based on concept).
