 The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing and overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance standards are maintained throughout the property. This role includes supervising staff, managing budgets, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring guest satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management
  
  
  • Plan, organize, and direct housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Staff Supervision
  
  
  • Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff.
  • Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to ensure efficient coverage.
• Inventory & Budget Control
  
  
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets and control costs.
• Quality Assurance
  
  
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Address guest complaints and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Coordination & Communication
  
  
  • Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain records and reports related to housekeeping activities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in hotel or resort housekeeping operations.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS).
• Ability to manage multicultural teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in housekeeping or hospitality operations is a plus.
