The Spa Manager has responsibility for managing the daily activities of the Spa. To interview and train staff, monitor the facilities; maintain stock inventories and payroll management. The Manager is also responsible for providing Spa menus, creating a tasteful environment as well as to be aware of current market trends in order to promote the spa in a creative and successful manner. Qualifications: Excellent communications skills, both written and oral. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business Management 3-5 years experience at the management level in a spa, preferably in a 5- Star resort. Training or license in various massage techniques, cosmetology and beauty treatments. Excellent customer service skills. Essential Job Functions: 1) Overseeing the general running of the spa on a daily basis. 2) Having a thorough knowledge of the spa services. 3) Keeping abreast of spa industry trends. 4) Maintaining a strong menu of services with both artistic and aesthetic value. 5) Consistently create and grow sales through staff training. 6) Controlling ongoing service and product margin analysis to ensure profitability. 7) Ensuring the spa is always staged to portray the right image. 8) Always ensuring adequate staffing. 9) Handling guest complaints with courtesy and expediency 10) Effectively trains staff so that they are able to consistently provide service that meets the service standards.
