JOB OVERVIEW:
The Spa Manager has responsibility for managing the daily activities of the Spa. To interview and train staff, monitor the facilities; maintain stock inventories and payroll management. The Manager is also responsible for providing Spa menus, creating a tasteful environment as well as to be aware of current market trends in order to promote the spa in a creative and successful manner.

Qualifications: 
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business.
- Management 3-5 years experience at the management level in a spa, preferably in a 5- Star resort. - Training or license in various massage techniques, cosmetology and beauty treatments.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Essential Job Functions: 
- Overseeing the general running of the spa on a daily basis.
- Having a thorough knowledge of the spa services.
- Keeping abreast of spa industry trends.
- Maintaining a strong menu of services with both artistic and aesthetic value.
- Consistently create and grow sales through staff training.
- Controlling ongoing service and product margin analysis to ensure profitability.
- Ensuring the spa is always staged to portray the right image.
- Always ensuring adequate staffing.
- Handling guest complaints with courtesy and expediency.
- Providing superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.
- Effectively trains staff so that they are able to consistently provide service that meets the service standards.
- Projecting an exceptional level of professionalism for staff to emulate.
- Planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Spearheading and maintaining an adequate inventory of spa supplies.
- Carrying out management responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures.
