The Food & Beverage (F&B) Director is a senior management role responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations for Secrets Saint Lucia. The position involves strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to ensure high-quality service, profitability, and a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for the F&B department, focusing on profitability, menu development, pricing, and service standards. Staff Management: Lead and train the F&B team, including chefs, waitstaff, and other personnel, to ensure excellent service and teamwork. Budgeting and Cost Control: Oversee financial aspects, including setting budgets, controlling costs (labor, food, and beverage), and maximizing profitability. Menu Development: Collaborate with Executive Chef to design and update menus, ensuring they align with guest preferences, trends, and operational goals. Quality Control: Ensure the highest food and beverage quality standards are met, from preparation to presentation and delivery. Guest Experience: Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction by monitoring feedback, addressing complaints, and ensuring top-tier service. Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and industry standards. Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of food and beverage products. Event Coordination: Oversee catering and special events, ensuring smooth operations and a high standard of service. Reporting: Regularly report on F&B performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, to senior management.
