Job Description

As Sales & Marketing Director, you will lead and oversee the commercial strategy of Cayo Levantado Resort, ensuring alignment with standards and the highest luxury benchmarks (Forbes). Your mission will be to maximize revenue, strengthen brand positioning, and drive sustainable growth across international markets.
What will your key responsibilities be?
  • Define, plan and implement the sales and marketing strategy for the resort, aligned with luxury positioning and Forbes standards.
  • Lead commercial activities with tour operators, luxury travel agencies and direct sales channels.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, pricing strategies and discounts to maximize revenues and margins.
  • Oversee revenue management, pricing, bookings, occupancy and distribution channels.
  • Monitor back-office operations related to sales performance, rates and inventory management.
  • Manage the full commercial budget cycle, including annual planning, forecasts, financial follow-up and year-end closure.
  • Analyze competitors, market trends and regulatory changes within the luxury hospitality segment to identify opportunities and improve brand positioning.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance indicators (sales, bookings, margins, occupancy rates, density) and define corrective action plans when required.
  • Coordinate and supervise accounting, treasury, reconciliation and financial reporting processes at property level.
  • Lead, develop and engage the Sales & Marketing team, ensuring talent development, performance management and compliance with quality, environmental and labor standards.


Experience and skills desired

What are we looking for?
  • Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, Economics or similar; a Master’s degree in Luxury Hospitality is a plus.
  • 7–9 years of experience in Sales & Distribution within luxury hotels or resorts, preferably within international hotel chains.
  • Proven experience in the commercialization of luxury resorts (Forbes, 5 Diamonds).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing budgets and leading teams.
  • Solid knowledge of luxury sales, distribution channels, tour operators, travel agencies, marketing and revenue management.
  • Experience in properties within the CALA region.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.
  • Strategic mindset, strong leadership skills and results-oriented approach.
  • Position based in Santo Domingo.
