Engineer Assistant Manager

As Engineering Assistant Director you will be responsible for manage, optimize, innovate and monitor both material and human resources, as well as compliance with maintenance programs in civil, room and mechanical areas in compliance with the safety and hygiene regulations established in the hotel.

The ideal candidate should possess: • A minimum of 5 years of experience at the Management level in an Engineering Department within a luxury, 4-Diamond Resort. • Experience managing and formulating operational budgets and capital expenditures. • The ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems as well as construction jobs. • The ability to plan, direct and effectively and efficiently manage engineering activities; must be adept at preventative maintenance strategies. • A high level of proficiency in English, verbal and written, and excellent communication skills. • The ability to work well under pressure, and effectively prioritize competiting priorities. • The ability to effectively assign and lead work teams to resolve engineerng-related issues.
