Job Description

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Hotel, /resort operations. Supports Executive Committee Members, their managers and employees. Ensures that all hotel functions are in line with Company standards. Maximizes the return on revenues by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, budgetary standards and reporting systems. Adherence to risk management guidelines. Influences the positive progression of employee satisfaction and morale. In addition, this individual is involved in guest interaction so as to drive high levels of customer satisfaction, provide the highest quality in standards and services and acts as the main liaison between the client and hotel staff.

Experience and skills desired

College degree in hospitality management. 10 or more years’ experience in a senior management position of a Five Star/Four Diamond hotel minimally. Highly developed employee relations skills required. Basic computer skills. Awareness of key hotel industry trends. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to provide legible communication. Ability to work well under pressure. Strong working knowledge of budgets, forecasting, profit and loss statements. Ability to train and motivate individuals, creating and maintaining a cohesive team. Desirable: Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.
